How to Use the Archive Folder

The Archive Folder lets you tuck documents out of the way without permanently deleting them. You can restore any archived document at any time.

Steps

  1. Open a transaction and go to the Documents tab.

  2. Find the document you want to archive and open its menu.

  3. Choose Archive.

Each document's menu holds Archive, alongside Open, Edit name and Move to.

The document moves into the Archived row at the bottom of the page. It is no longer part of your active checklist, but it isn’t deleted.

Archiving by dragging

  • Start dragging the document. A bar appears at the bottom of the screen offering Leave unfiled and Archive — useful when the page is long and you’d otherwise have to drag a long way.

While you drag a document, a bar appears at the bottom of the screen. Drop it on Archive.

  • Once at least one document is archived, the Archived row appears at the bottom and you can drop documents straight onto it.

To restore an archived document:

  1. Expand the Archived row at the bottom of the page.

  2. Hover the document and click Restore. It goes back to the unfiled list at the top, ready to be filed into a checklist item.

Archived documents sit at the bottom of the page. Hover one and Restore appears.

  • To put it straight back on a specific checklist item instead, drag it out of the Archived row and drop it on that item.

Tips

  • Use the Archived row to keep your checklists clean without losing anything important.

  • Archived documents are always recoverable — nothing is permanently removed.

  • The Archived row stays hidden until you archive something for the first time.
