Including a Vacant Land Purchase Agreement in the Buyers Envelopes
The Vacant Land Purchase Agreement is pre-configured within the buyer offer envelope, alongside other agreements such as residential and new construction agreements. The Click Contracts system integrates directly with MLS (Multiple Listing Service) to determine the appropriate agreement based on the property type. Users can, however, override this selection if needed by manually changing the property type.
For properties that are not listed on MLS (off-market land), users can still use the buyer offer envelope. However, since MLS-linked form population is unavailable in these cases, the required information must be entered manually.
The question sits at the top of Property Details. The answer you want is Land.
Tips for Using Vacant Land Forms:
Overriding System Defaults: When the system selects an agreement type automatically, go to the property details section to adjust the property type if the specified agreement doesnât meet your needs. The question is Property type being purchased and the answer that produces the Vacant Land Purchase Agreement is Land.
Manual Information Entry: For off-market (non-MLS) properties, ensure you gather all required data points in advance for manual entry, as integration with MLS wonât pre-populate the fields.
Changing the property type changes the rest of the offer. Each answer brings its own set of questions, so switching to Land removes the ones that only apply to a house and adds the ones that apply to land. Expect the sections below to look different afterwards.
